I've been working on installing dual exhaust on my 96 176. The exhaust tube goes right in front of the hole where the blower ducting is. It's the hole that goes through the stringer. I've tried different possibilities, and it's not working.
I'm now wondering about running the flex ducting down the center of the bilge near the exhaust tubes, and then connect it at the top of the transom where the other ducts exhausts. i also thought about mounting 2 blowers back behind the gas tank, and letting them draw air from the 2 holes through the stringers in the bilge. My concern is that it might be easier for the fans to draw air from the bow instead of the bilge. Any thoughts or ideas? Thanks |

I put an in line blower fan right under the hood scoop on my 78. It blows air into the bilge while the rear fan draws out....
