I have an 2002 Air Nautique with which I assume is the Ford Motor (not the GT40). Some how I keep blowing a 10amp and a 15 amp fuse that connects to the fuel pumps. I've traced the wires and nothing seems to be wrong with them. Ive changed the relays. We hooked up a battery with a fuse to the fuel pump and it doesn't blow the fuse.I'm at a complete loss. Has anyone encountered the same problem or know why it keeps blowing the fuse?

Marc,
What voltage are you getting to the pumps? A low voltage will cause a high amp condition. Hooking up the pumps with the battery is bypassing the potential low voltage. Checking the actual amp load of the pumps can be done as well with a multi meter with a high enough amp rating. |

Marc a picture of engine will help if it is not the GT 40 it may be the Chev based Excalibur or possibly the smaller Ford based 275HP engine.
Are they fuses or circuit breakers and where are they located?? At rear of engine next to ECM?? |
