I did borrow one and it made the water feel awesome but does not help the cold water splashing in your face or when you face plant. It was an awesome day at the lake tho.

Went out yesterday for a run. Had alot of fun. Was trying some toe holds. Tried barefeet and with shoes. With both I got my foot up and touched it. I need to work on getting weight forward. I could not even see with the shoes on so much water was spraying in my face. It was my first run ever on them so I just need some time. Tried the tape also and that stuff works great. My body thanks me today for wearing that stuff.

Just bought off of ebay a barefoot international front toe hold handle and 100ft spectra mainline for 100 bucks total pretty excited.

Actually the water was pretty bad because fisherman kept throwing rollers the whole time we were there. Lots of time I just had to ride straight and not try anything because of rollers. |

I know its not exactly breaking new ground in the barefooting world, but Jackie 2's husband once told skutch had a rule that you're not a real barefooter until you can cross both wakes.

Speaks also to the torque on what appears to be a fairly new 2.5 Merc. Not surprised that it would get you to skiing speed (which is really around 30 mph) in less then 10 seconds.

Getting up to speed was never his problem.

Thanks man, I do work on getting better at stuff sometimes. that was the only run that got caught on video, the next one I got up to speed too fast, got stuck in the wake and fought or for probably 20 seconds before I realized, hey, I can just stand up |
