This is my first year winterizing a gt40 pro boss. I live in nc and will be keeping it in a non climate control garage. My question is should I just pull the 5 drain plugs out and be done or should I use antifreeze. and if so what is the best way to add antifreeze I've seen the fake a lake method using the inlet hose off bottom of hull. also what is the correct brand/type of antifreeze to use?

Pull all 5 plugs then use the bucket method to pull in 5 gallons of concentrated Shell antifreeze into the motor. Then go back and pull the block plugs real quick and take a peak to have piece of mind. Don't forget to drain the strainer and add some Sta-bil to the gas tank. Its a wrap. There are as many methods to winterizing on here as what there are members. Personal preference I guess. Lots of threads on the topic too just search. Take my word there is a WEALTH of Knowledge on this site trust me!!!! Folks in here know their boats for and aft. LOL
