My wife fell in love with a lost dog the Berrys were fostering last month. Someone claimed the dog then later realized it wasn't their dog. It's back up for adoption. Seems like he would do well in the car, one of the most docile, laziest things I've ever come across really. He is house broken and hardly relieves himself anyway. She's trying to arrange getting him to us but we are still a couple weeks away from having our house put back together and livable for a pet in the meantime. I don't know if she plans on having someone up here keep him in the short term or what really. I don't have the time or effort to put into this right now.
Any idears other than hop in the car and go back down to FL? |

If you can wait a day or two, I am sure either Alan or Tim will be going on a boat/engine getting mission somewhere. They could swing by and pick up the pooch for you.
Most docile laziest things you've ever come across? Given the fact that you have met Tique, that florida dog must REALLY be lazy. You sure its still breathing? |

What she is willing to share the house with two stray dawgs?
Bless her heart. Most airlines allow them on flights and maybe Timbob can get a deal at Delta |

We found a dog in Arkansas that we wanted to adopt (and did). We worked with a local rescue league who is affiliated with dog bones and the local rescue league, Forever Home Rescue, contacted Dog Bones and put the dog on the truck with all the other rescued dogs coming up north. We had to pay the $350.00 adoption fee and we couldn't back out of the deal. Talk to your local dog rescues.

We're driving back to Florida (Estero) during spring break (March 18th-28th), let me know if that would workout for you. Good luck

CCF does it again.
jbear and Patti met back with people that mistakenly took the dog and got him back. Alan and Dana will bring him back up here after SJRR. Thanks to all for the suggestions. |

Yup....we have 2 dogs right now. Had to replace Jo the TN wonder dog. The house was just to empty without a dog. We have replaced her with a rescue dog as well but that is another story.
This guy could easily be Tique's cousin. He really is a great dog. But this is all gonna work out well....just like these old boats...C/CFan dogs come with a story. john |
