Because of the old Midwest Correct Craft? MWCC was basically just a shipping point. Don't forget other states with more lakes than Indiana! I'd wager that on my chain alone, there's over 300 old and new CC's. |

Do all the ones rotting away in Florida back (and front) yards count?

There's a lot less CC's in FL than you would think, rotten or not. NC is loaded, I had to buy one there, I also bought one in GA via Indiana.... And I grew up blocks from the factory go figure.

I have probably around 15 only including mine. There is an old ski nautique, probably 67--69 rotting away though. Makes me a little sad when I see it. It's a nice looking sea-foam green but it's slowly fading.

Maybe Art has some statistics?
I do know that for years every southwind I've seen for sale is in Alabama. .. |

If number of registered boats has anything to do with it Florida would be it as they are #1 in that count.
Minnesota would be a strong candidate as it has the second highest # or reg boats and it's not ocean on 3 sides. After that Michigan is 3, Cali is 4 and Wisco is 5. |

But Correct Craft has been manufacturing boats in Florida, the water ski capital of the United States (maybe the world?) for over 90 years. Can't be Florida.

Doubt it's CA, anything over 10 years old is an antique by their standards. Probably the highest concentration of Natiques though.
FL seems to have the highest population of beat Correct crafts... I always assumed it was the combination of climate (harsh sun and year round use) and high supply of Cc's that allowed so many of them to deteriorate so badly... |

I agree. Florida would be my guess. The majority of the houses on the lakes I frequent have a CC on their lift if they have a boat at all. |

The most Correct Crafts on any one lake I have ever seen is Via De Bravo in Mexico.

Read somewhere that AZ had the most registered boats.
I'd guess both Carolina's for CC's. |

I've been told by a reliable source that there are more than 400 on White Lake, NC. I'd like to hear them all out there at once.

Year round residents, I bet that's right. Mostly 2nd homes on WL I bet. It's eerily quiet when we show up in April. Still, 400 does seem high. |

Not according the town of White Lake: "has a population of approximately 500 year-round with about 200,000 tourists visiting the Lake each summer." |

I'm sticking by my source. That lake is bigger than it looks, especially when you're skiing around it.

Presumably most of those CC's came from White Lake Marine. Even selling 20 a year it would take 20 years to fill the lake to that number...
Pete check your stats. 2010 census is up to 802 from 529 in 2000 |

Has to be Florida since at some point in time every one of them was in the Orlando area. A better question is what state has the most Correct Craft registrations
