So I was out this Saturday. Decided to do some long line passes.
Did my first long line toe hold and both one foots. But I need advice on doing tumble turns. Everytime I try it start going to the middle of the wake and then my should catch and end up in a fall. Where do I start? |

Video?
Be sure you are turning your knees away...keep handle in tight to waist...pull to opposite side...keep handle close as you rotate do not let it rise above your chin...keep chin tucked in to chest and your shoulders wont catch....be quick |

Made it back from Johns- what a great time. Skied with John on Saturday while Eddie remained in control of the driving duties. John was SOLID on his LLBD's while I flopped around like an overstuffed pasta shell on the 5' line.
John and I did check the box for a tandem flyer at Adam's request. Vid's to follow later this week |

Got to ski saturday here in colorado. It was 65 air and 36 water. Got an ok slalom run but the water was too bad to barefoot. So I went behind the boat for like 100 yards just to say I did it. I also bought some neoprene socks. Those things work great for barefooting.

Somehow after three years of going to his house I haven't actually footed with John yet, or Eddie for that matter. They're always too busy teaching me stuff I guess. Hard to find a better ski crew though. |

Oh, I have a pair too I use for winter use. I think they are great. Just like feet, but keep your feet warm.. I get hollywoods point if you were running the buckethead or the NYD tournament where testing endurance is a factor (tho one contender snuck them in at the NYD!!!) But for fun winter runs, go for it. I don't consider it cheating. They really do not offer any benefit (except the endurance thing).. |

Yeah I did not even think of that. I dont do any endurance runs or racing or what ever. That does not even seem fun maybe it is haha but does not sound like it. I took my slalom ski off and had my bare feet in the water and it was cold im glad I had the socks. |

Ha I'm with Kevin on this one... Hard to call it barefooting if you're not barefoot.

Nice double flier. Pretty quick roll-out, which makes them more impressive. I have to work on speeding mine up a bit.
Greg, good to know about the guy from Jersey, I hadn't heard that story. I thought something didn't seem quite right, especially since hot foot is what knocked me down. |

Small block needs a hot roll to pull 2 deep?
I assume the driver calls the ball when the slack is out? I didn't hear the skier(s) call it. Nice run! |

If you guys didn't have 4 feet of ice on your lakes right now, maybe you could relate. |

I pretty much defer to the driver on fliers. That's one of the reasons you see me holding the coils up high and out so they are visible
