Can you guys tear apart this long line tumble turn. I do the exact same thing every time. Ive tried it about 20 times and my first try looks exactly like my last try. Off the boom I can do it every time.

Thanks and thats kind of what I thought. I just want it so bad I hurry. I kinda thought about slowing the spin down too. I feel like I spin so fast I cant control it.

maybe haha it seems like I dont keep my inside hip up on the last 180 degrees of the turn so it catches messing me up.

Yeah, get the mechanics first on boom then go back behind the boat. It is pretty easy to muscle them out on boom with bad form.

Also, make sure your suits flotation pads are sewn in (not just glued) or they can bunch up throwing you out of wack.

hard to tell by your video but you are definitely breaking form too early... try and tumble back to center and but ride a sec or two before planting heals... ride your 3 point for a sec.. until you have it down pat.

I will add to the good tips above: learn 180 tumbles first...the knees must point away from boat so that you are riding your trailing hip or you'll dig in every time...you must keep the leading hip up and it changes at the 180 mark from one hip to the other

Just a question does anybody have an old barefoot drysuit they dont use and would like to sell. I would take anything but would really like one that has some retro colors. I like my buddies purple BF international one.

Old and drysuit don't go together well. Seals don't last very long regardless of how often you ski. They are rubber and dry out no matter what.

This one fits like a M/L. Has no seals at all but the shell and zipper are in good shape.


This one is a M. Last I saw it had some usable seals left shown here.


Both suits are OS Systems, who is still in business and fully capable of doing any and all necessary repairs. I currently wear two Large OS suits. Let me know if you're interested in either.

The wrist and ankle seals are relatively straightforward to replace. The neck seals are another story. I was going to go try these replaceable seals, but then I had my boo boo and will, the rest as they say is history.

Anyway the quick neck system has a ring that snaps into the neck seal and holds a replaceable seal. You can literally change a seal in minutes once it is installed. I was planning to farm out the installation, but there are a number of DIY videos. A little more pricey then a "regular" seal but gives you the flexibility to change in an emergency as long as you have a spare seal.

Oh and remember to zip up your suit before you get in the water...   

Where do you get the replacement ankle and wrist seals? Are some better than others? I looked on amazon and there are many to choose from. Just curious as to others experience. I have the black/purple barefoot intl. Glad to hear it may be coming back into style!
