Hey, great time had by all. GL never disappoints with wind and waves, but we managed to find the sun and warm water in the bay. Sunday night was nothing but amazing as the waters calmed down and lent time for some boarding and surfing. The barge band on Sunday was even pretty good !!

I wanted to specially thank Paul and Daniel for getting the Marty in tune, Steve and De for hosting dinner on Sunday night and Alan and Dana for always spending time helping teach the kids to surf.. Also Buffy for putting together a great video capturing the weekend fun. Everyone in our camp had a great weekend..

Funny to think GL has surpassed a decade now of hosting CCFaners from all over the country. Whether a mini or an official event, its always a great time with great people..

For next year and stay on the lake. We liked our hotel in Oshkosh but we ain't doin that again.

Its usually the same weekend or one earlier Peter. Its not set in stone. We usually know whats up around Christmas Don't remind me to tell you "I told you so" on the accommodations haha.. You missed on a lot of fun being so far away.. Glad we were able to help with finding a parking spot in our "boat lot" this weekend.. It was nice to meet your family and to share a stogie with ya...

It was really Brian (Illiniballs2000)'s wife Buffy.. She took some very "moorfoot" type pics. So we had someone to pick up the slack !! haha. I convinced my daughter to climb the tower on the 211 to get that arial shot .......

I know these events are tough to put on. I know a while back there was talk of them being stopped . I would like to thank Mojo, Alan, Dana and anyone else who helped put it together and keep them going. It was really cool in the bay to hear people come over and ask if the Correct Craft "Thing" was in town again. It may not sound like a lot to some but that means people do notice. I have not yet decided if it was good or bad that they noticed.

Again.........
Thanks
