looking for instructions on how to replace belt tensioner on 05 Nautique 196 w 330 Excaliber. I think it needs it because I hear a noise once enginge is run at skiing speeds. Sounds like, chick-a-chick-a-chick. Does not make noise when engine is first started at idle.
Also I am suspecting it is causing the belt to slip a little because I had a dead battery the other day and it is a new one this season. I recharged it and have run the boat 4 times and everything is working ok.

Are there any videos out there (you- tube?).
Anyone have any ideas where to buy the part?   Thanks.

Yes, that is the correct part. PCM#R090287A

Why not just yank the belt and start the engine and run for a few seconds, if the noise is gone you know your problem.

Oops, check that, suppose if the noise your hearing is the alternator or water pump and not the tensioner, yanking the belt will not help.

Try pulling the belt and just spin the tensioner by hand, grab it and see if it's loose also. If appears OK do the same on the other pulleys.
