I too would like to thank Greg, Sue, Kristin and Jake for doing such a wonderful job of opening up their home to everyone once again. Natalie and I would also like to give thanks to David, Ridgely, and Nauti for letting us stay at their lake home and skip a very wet Sha La Tent this weekend. It was greatly appreciated.

I would also like to give a shout out to the Fossett Performance Ski Shop for fitting me with my next slightly used water ski. They provided the Ski and Mr. Morfoot provided the demo tips. Better than e-bay and not as creepy and dangerous as Craig's List.

It was great to see everyone from MO, MA, CT, NY, VA, TN, OH, GA, SC and NC. My wife Kerry enjoyed getting to know more of you and Madeleine (Oldest daughter) got to see some old friends. Natalie had a blast as usual.

At each event, I learn more usages for Fireball.

Wow- what a weekend.
JD and I made the 14 hour trek from MA for this awesome weekend with CCF friends.
We did a little wrenchin, a little racin, little drinkin and a lotta skiing.

A huge THANK YOU to the Fossetts for hosting this event and everyone who contributed food, shelter, etc to make it a CCF fan reunion to remember.

Was great seeing everyone again and meeting a few fans for the first time.

Looking forward to MoFoot's pics!

Greg/ Larry- We didn't try the 4 man bridge flyer. Next year?

Thanks out to the Fossett family for hosting! It was good to see all and meet a few new fans. I'll be looking forward to seeing the human rope handle attempt next year. Thanks as well to Brad for making my orange fever a little worse!

Huge thanks to Greg, Sue and Kristen... Great weekend! Wish we could have gotten over there sooner on Sat/Sun, but those pesky projects wouldn't cooperate. We enjoyed the heck out of ourselves nonetheless- thanks for the hospitality!

Maybe next year someone will remember to order sunny skys.

Okay gang....here are the pictures that I took over the long weekend. I did a lot of wrench turning on TrBenj's skier so I didn't get a lot of pics. Joe's Wildcat got a lot of love too at the BBC and I only got a couple of pics of it. The goal was to pull the skiers motor, swap, paint and drop in the new one, get it all hooked up and drop in the new Powerplant in The Cat. Not all went according to plan as we had several setbacks here and there but we were all working till late the next morning trying to Git r' Done. Fell short of that goal but had tons of fun regardless. Adam dropped in late Fri to help where he could and even though he's not much of a gearhead it was good having an extra set of hands and he does pretty a good job of making of making gaskets.

On your Mark.......

Get set........

GO!!!!

Joe's New Motor

All Buffed Up!!

About 2:00am on Fri morning....Tim and Joe stayed till 4:00am getting the bell housing and tranny painted.....Reid and I headed for the house at 2:30.

More prepping Fri Morning......

2am Sat morning....we are NOT going to bed until the motor is in!!!!!!!

3:30 am....Mission Accomplished...It's time to go to bed......

Noonish on Sat...a little tapity tap tap to get the alignment right. then I was off to Badin to smoke Chicken.

Sat Night Hurricane Matthew Party at Gregs place!

Matthew moved out and we moved in!!

Cousin Donalds daughter Natalie Ripping It!

Skiers Test Run

Even Teak was excited about Dad and Mom's new Motor!

Engine was making some weird noises so Tim shut it down. The BBC is still investigating the cause of the problem.......We alllllllllllllllmost had her done.

Thanks again all for the great time, great laughs, great boats but as always ...The Great People. I'm still recovering from the weekend.

Great pics from all as usual, Gene and I would like to thank Greg, Sue, Kristin and Jake for hosting another great Badin Mini. they did a great job keeping everything rolling along, unfortunately it was during Hurricane Matthew, but didn't seem to keep us off the lake other than Saturday. Thank also to David and Ridgely for opening up there Lake home to overnight guests.

Badin lake 2016!    Wow!
Thank you Greg and your family for opening up your home and hosting this fun event!
Brad and I blazed into town like a hurricane and had the opportunity to work on some projects at the BBC, show up for an awesome cookout and see old friends, and meet a handful of new ones! What could be better....... Oh yeah then we woke to sunny blue sky's and got to ski the heck out of some great boats, race a few, run some out of gas, and check out an awsome lake!
The ride home was a tough push, 14 hours to Brads, but with a smile the whole way!
Looking forward to seeing many of you sooner than later, and definetly at Badin again sometime in the future!

John

Greg,

The orange Hat belongs to Reid. He was wearing it Saturday Night when he arrived. The underwear is not mine. I went commando all weekend. When I do wear underwear they are MAN SIZE.

Hey Greg, I think that is my gray Nautique hat, I knew it was missing, just not sure who's boat it was left in. I'll grab it next month when I'm down. as for the underwear, I can't claim them but they do match the hat.   Thanks Scott

The hat was in my boat - I have put it in your guest room until your visit next month. Should you feel the need to stop here on the way to Florida we can grab a ski set or three and you can get the hat. Otherwise, see you New Years Eave or earlier
