Was the pump in spec? A clutch pack and gaskets are not a rebuild!!

Show the seller what a new trans costs and deduct that from the sales price. At the minimum it needs a rebuild

Looking at a 79 mustang fir a friend water test revealed reverse gear but no forward gear boat has been sitting 10 years any thoughts
