They are really lucky. Had to decide which side of the boat to bail out of, hope the guy didn't turn toward them, could have been a much worse outcome. I hope that they take the guys driver's license away, not sure of the laws there. Seems like they could match the time stamp of the film up with the guy's phone use and prove he was using the phone.

It will be interesting in court. Even if they can't confirm he was using the phone. it sounds like Marvin stated he can't see over the bow of the boat!!

They will get a new boat & what ever else got damaged. Insurance company will bend over backwards on this one I bet.
No one got hurt so there won't be any court action. |
