FAKE NEWS ALERT! There were Russians in Green Lake this weekend. I think they were staying in units 9 and 10 at Green Lake Suites. They hacked my boat cover. :) Now the REAL news! I thought the Universal fit cover was pretty good for a $99 cover. |

There is some legitimacy to such a rumor. And that gathering also included a Harper sighting followed by a Benjamin visit. Should go without saying there were several early morning Hart sightings (Tom also made it over a couple of mornings). I am still not smart enough to post pics from the phone. |

WOW another great Green Lake weekend. First part of the week the weather looked iffy at best but the weather gods pulled through for the weekend Saturday and Sunday were great days in the bay. Mojo thanks for setting this up. It was nice to see old friends and meet some new ones. Thanks to every one that can, it was such a fun time.

Abner, Abner....come quick. Look at all those boats parked in the Dorsen's yard. You go over there and say something to him. |

Super great time at the Green Lake!
Despite being a "mini", we still had 12 boats on Saturday and probably the calmest water in Green Lake history. Seriously, no wind. Those of us with small boats were able to gallop with confidence. We even skied the course 2 days in a row with relatively good conditions. A huge thanks to Alan and Dana for dragging the Hurricane up and letting me have some rudder time. Sooooooooo awesome. Paul, thanks for throwing me the keys to the promo. I think Liz is now super excited to get ours done for 2020. We also found a version of Hollywood walking around that had a groomed beard. Still not sure who that was. I normally take a ton of photos at these things, but alas, I opened my camera case on day one to find a dead battery. Sorry. |

Hope everyone made it back OK.
Green Lake 2018 was probably the best weather/water combination weekends since we started back in 2006. Friday night was the only issue, but the rest of the weekend was picture perfect, along with the water.. Getting the Martinique out in nice water was a blast. I do have to apologize, first and foremost, for the audible that was called on Friday. The afternoon weather was so nice, everyone hit the water and hung out. Once we saw the rain hit the Northeast part of the lake, we just hung out until it passed, leaving no one in the lot for the trailer show. So for those who showed up there, I am truly sorry. I didn't hear that anyone else made it up, except for Chevy 350's uncle who brought out a cool 69 SN. It was great to see everyone there.. The Goose was its typical fun, except for the leaking roof.. Thunder Boss however was a huge disappointment (to me anyway). Hopefully in the future they can get it together, making it a good place to go.. Thanks all for coming out. It was a great time for sure.. !! Moj' |

Yea I guess I'll have to be the one who says it- the lack of pictures is highly suspicious .......
And now word of the boat show not happening?? Correct Craft Fan bylaw rule 2 paragraph 1 clearly states "Pictures or it didn't happen" |

Calm is a relative term HW. 1-2 footers could be considered calm there
