I've seen it discussed before but my forum searches dont come up with much.
My canvas finally tore through on my 88 BFN enough that it's not really repairable.
My current canvas I use while towing and on the trailer. It snaps onto a bunch of button snaps that are under my rub rail and has 2 support bars.
Will covers made for the Ski nautique work with the barefoot models of the same year?
Im having a hard time finding off the shelf stuff like that for the barefoot.
What is everyone running? And do you tow with it on? I have a feeling I am stuck going to a custom canva$ shop at this point.

Tony go on to Angola Canvas web site they have a list of boats they have covers for. They used to supply Mid West Correct Craft with covers. You'd have to ask them about towing.

Speaking of covers,

I was wondering who would have the best boat covers, for the best prices. I need a medium duty cover for light moisture/rain but mainly for dust and dirt. I never recommend trailering with a cover on. I will always store the boat under covered parking. I have a 1993 196. Would like to cover the teak as well. Any suggestions would help.

I just got a new one from Overtons. The last one lasted about 15 years. The boat is kept in outdoor covered storage and I tow with cover on since I travel on a dirt road.

Overtons Cover

You can order with or without the bow cutout and it covers the platform. Also, it looks like they are having a 20% off sale. $457 including shipping.

Edit: better pic:

I also leave the Bimini top connected and laying across the engine cover and the cover fits over it.

Thanks. I have a call into angola, I'll see what they come up with.

Desert, is the one you have from overtons a model specific cover or a generic size?

It's model specific. They have a couple of different materials.   I buy the Sunbrella.

I got a Sunbrella cover from Overtons for my 2004 SN. It was made about 60 miles from my home by Carver Covers. Excellent cover, fits like a glove and breathes, so no moisture build up. Very satisfied and it also covers the platform. Highly recommended.
