It's been a while since we've posted anything, but we wanted to share something pretty cool that we're so thrilled to be a part of.

A great non-profit organization called Wake the World that we've been a part of for several years. that's just finished their 11th year. We take kids from children's homes out for a day on the lake. We love on them, encourage them and teach them to wakeboard, surf or whatever they'd like to learn. Through a donation by a great family they've been able to move to another level of their way to #passthehandle.

They were recently donated a 1979 Ski Nautique that only has 640 hours on it The boats in very good shape. Wake the World is doing some modifications to it to make it easier to use in our Wake the World events. It will be in dry storage and based out of Lilly's Bridge Marina on Lake Tillery in North Carolina. Lilly's Bridge has graciously donated dry storage space and will launch the boat for us as well. It will be available to be used by anyone who's been affiliated with WTW and would like to come back and create new memories as the boat driver with kids in the same situations as they were once in. This is bringing this vision full circle that kids that were in the foster care system when we first began doing this are now old enough to come back and be a volunteer and make a difference in the kids lives. Anyone who uses the boat will have to be at least 21, be employed and have taken a safety certification course.

This is taking #passthehandle to a new level and now we'll be able to #passtheboat. What's amazing is these kids are so grateful to be out in the water enjoying themselves that they don't care if they're in our 1990 Barefoot Nauqitue or a brand new G.

We've also had some great donations from awesome companies that want to be a part of this cool idea like Origin towers, Gator Step, Townsend Link from White Lake Marine and so many more. We built a new platform and engraved it with the WTW logo.

If you ever get a chance to meet Greg Hodgin that started WTW, you'll find he's one of the most compassionate, loving, caring and all around great guys you'll ever want to meet. We've been educating him about CC and our love for this brand of boats.

With summer coming to an end and the next events will begin in June 2019, you have time to think about getting involved. If you'd like more information, feel free to message us or go to the WTW website at waketheworld.org and go to "Events" and you'll bee able to see all the events for next summer. There may be an event in your area or close to you that you could join. We promise that you'll come away exhausted, but your heart will be so filled from seeing how excited the kids are.

Here are a few pics of the boat. It's amazing what great shape it's in!!

Yep, great folks involved in this outreach!.   I love that this SN is going to be on the water pulling some kids who were involved with the start of Wake the World.   What a fantastic way to share the love of watersports!
