This carb removed from running 351W in a 1976 SN approx 6 months ago. It was performing just fine at that time. My online research turned up no info so I called Holley. I was told this carb was produced 2nd week of June 1965. It is a marine 4160. They had no other spec but guess it to be 600cfm.

Your research should have told you that it's a 4160 Marine carb first built in 1972(that's what the D2 tells you) and it was built for the industrial engine division ( the J and L both tell you that)

Below is a link to deciphering Ford part numbers up till 1999 or so

The list number 6576 identifies it as a marine carburetor

And for you Pete, it's one of them there marine carbs produced before the birth of the J tube   You should clean your keyboard to, the ??? key seems to be sticky

Being that old I'll bet it did not have them. Remember when TimBob took Kermit's carb off? Everyone jumped on him telling him he was going to blow up real soon if he didn't take take it off 2 weeks before he bought it Turns out it was a marine Holley too...........
