Since it seems that hyperlinks look different these days when added to a post and I've only seen a couple since the site was restored,(and one was by me) and it wasn't at all intuitive how to do it, can you add some instructions and make it a sticky right under the one about posting pictures. I'm worried that Pete might go out of his mind trying to turn it into a "proper link".and we don't want that to happen Is this example below what a link will look like now? It's a link to one of Pete's favorite topics |

Ken,
I was able to create a link Like you always liked, it is a little odd the way it works now and not intuitive. type the word "link" in the message. Highlight the word click on hyperlink button above. Paste hyperlink over the word that is now in the Address box. erase Http:// or Https:// from the copied hyperlink Select the correct prefix in the drop down box. http:// will usually work. Click OK. Good to see you back

Now that the new server will post direct links, I simply title the link before pasting like this: Pretty easy rather that what Martin has suggested.

Played with this a little more and there is no need to erase the Http:// from your inserted link as long as you select https:// from the drop down box.
