Hey guys,

It's with a heavy heart today that I share that Andy (Waterdog here) passed away yesterday afternoon. He had apparently been battling pneumonia for several weeks in the hospital.

I don't have many details at this point and will share when something additional becomes available.

These forums were often times the first thing he looked at in the morning and he loved the community and reunions so much.

Take care everyone and stay safe.

-Stan

Oh noooooooo! Damn it man! Well this news just sucks!!!!! Andy was a great guy and fun guy to be around. Talked to him rarely but had spent quite a few hours with him at gatherings and ruckuses. The man could snore like no tomorrow and wake the dead because he was so loud. He was driving Miss Scarlett once at a Pinkham Point gathering once and wasn't paying attention to the rough water conditions. Buried the nose in a wave and sent a wall of water up the window and raining down on both of us shorting out my radio. Felt bad about it and wanted to send him the bill for new one. God Speed WaterDog and tell the Ripster and Pat Allen that we miss them! Thanks for letting us know Stan.

Very sad news indeed.  Was the pneumonia related to COVID19?

SO SAD.  I was lucky enough to spend some time with Andy when and after we bought our '78 Tique from him.

Great guy.  He will be missed!

Hi guys,

Still waiting on some service information.  Any new updates will probably be posted here alongside the obit:

He meant a lot to a lot of different people and will be deeply missed..

Air206 -- I got to take that SkiTique out with him on the Neuse while he was finishing it up.  It was a blast and I hope it keeps treating you well.
