I am going to be picking up a 99 Sport Nautique this weekend with out a tower.  As luck would have it I have found a 2004 Flight Control Tower for sale about two hours away from where I am picking up the boat and it is on the way home.  So, I want to know how to tell if this tower is compatible with the 99 Sport.  Does anyone have the distance between the front legs and the distance between the rear legs for these towers on a Sport from this era?

Thanks for the help.  I have owned a couple of different ski boats over the years but this will be my first Nautique.  Been a fan of them years and I am finally going to get one.

If no one pops up with the measurements, I would call new dimensions who manufactures the tower. Surely they will have specs from 99 and can compare to the 04 tower. I loved the lines on my 99 sport. If you have to put a tower on, the fct is the way to go.

Thanks for the idea.  I spoke with Wayne from New Dimensions and he was very helpful.  He is going to check his data and let me know if there is any significant difference.

I put a 2000 FCT II on a 2002 Sport . The 2000 and up decks had flat spots for the feet of the tower. The older models do not but it can still be done. Last summer there was a guy on her that placed a New Dimension Tower on an older ( older than 2000) Sport . He is a Doctor named Tyler and lives in North Carolina. Screen name is  DockDoc.  Do a search for him and you will learn some info on this topic.

A true FCT II are hard to come by so you need to pick it up. They mostly seem to come available in Florida. I went to Boston to get my tower and I live in NC.

@Donald80SN this boat and tower is in NC and I am driving up from Orlando to get the boat. Not sure I want to invest the dollars in it if it is not going to fit.
Wayne at New Dimensions said the newer hull is wider where the tower legs come down to mount on the hull.
