I bought a sheet of 1" HDPE to replace my plywood awhile ago. Finally got around to cutting it because I was apprehensive after reading how difficult it was to cut. Went way better than I imagined- a quick pass with a propane torch smoothed out the edges.

On my crash pads, I use 3/4" HDPE cut to size. It works great and you never have to cover it with carpet!

This is the best set up I have seen . It moves so you can put the cover on. It came from Boatmate trailers.

I am looking for a Crash Pad setup for my boat trailer.
Its not a Correct Craft Boat or trailer, but I like the crash pad setup for inboards.
Would anyone have one for sale? Or know where I can find one new or used? Ive looked into fabricating myself and with a shop, thought I'd check here before doing myself. Thanks in advance! Eric |
