Edit/update.
Last year we (4 friends) bought this boat in the start of the summer. we already had an 55hp Vega pioneer(the orange boat). But is was to small voor the bigger families, so although we had fun with it we went for the sn 2001. it runs on lpg. the gasoline installation is still there but isn`t used. it has 2 40ltr gastanks on what we can run for about 3 to 4 hours. the kost for a 2 hour wakeboard session is about 17 euro`s. the motor has been swapped a few years back. we can`t find any identification numbers. the only referens is the part number of the waterbridge. and that says it is a 351... but that comes in al sorts of shapes i understand... Last year we changed the generator and had some electrical issues. this winter we removed the audio equipment with amplifier and subwoofer. more space less electrical bugs we hope... Now we are changing the cutless bearing and treated ourselfs with an acme 542. it is not installed just yet but we will keep you updated how it runs. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

How does the new propeller feel? You should notice a big difference. Nice looking boat.

Hey fahtal,
Welcome to the site! Nice work on the upgrades. I can tell you that the ACME (1442) did wonders on my '89! You won't be disapointed... BTW, where do you ski/boat? The picture looks similar to my neck of the woods on the Maas near Maaseik-Roermond...

The update (new cutless bearing and acme prop) feels great! before the boat had resonance at different speeds like 20 kmph or 50kmph the wake tower and windscreen started shaking at those speeds. now it is a smooth ride. Also the holeshot feels better(didn`t compare it with data) and is feels like it is turning better also no proof. the wake looks like it has less turbulence. maybe the downside is that is a bit more thirsty but also no real proof jet. ![]() |
