Hi all,
Ok my wife is pushing me buy a new boat... we want a bigger boat to hold more people the 2 weekends a year we host ski parties.
I'm considering buying a 2005 and younger. I like the Ski Natique brand. But I don't like the prices of those new boats. my budget purchase  is max 35,000. my family / friend plans are 11 people max, wake boarding, knee boarding & skiing. thankfully not surfing.
so what models am I interested in? I don't mind fixing it a little, maybe dumping another 2 k getting it my way. ok 37 max investment.
thanks for your thoughts

You can increase your budget or lower your expectations . A 220,226, or 230 will hold 11 but won't ski well and will cost more than 35k especially in this wacked out market.

The 11 people just doesn't really fit with a ski boat that isn't surf centric. A 206 would be a great boat for you and in budget but maybe 7 people max and crowded at that.

Maybe rent a big pontoon & tow the ski boat to a quiet cove, throw out anchor & start the grill.

This is what we do every week for our ski group. From 5 to 10 people can show up so the pontoon is base camp on the smooth side of the lake. Tongue  Not a rental but same Idea.

Indeed, No semiserious skiing can occur with 10 on board
Yeah, two boats. get an old patiobarge for them to kabitz on

Buying a primary boat to suit extended people never goes well long term. get a boat for you and your crew
