As the title says, I believe I've got excess steam coming out of my exhaust under load. It was very apparent while surfing this morning. I'm not 100% confident it is excessive, but it seems like it to me (this is my first Nautique I've had as an adult so I dont have a great benchmark). The temps are great...once it hits 160 (EFI) it doesnt budge off of it. Risers feel a little warm but not crazy hot.

It seems to me the critical question is what would cause excess steam but not impact temps?

Some more details:
-I replaced the impeller a month or so ago. I managed to strip a bolt tightening it back up but got a nut and bolt on it to snug it back up. But I can't rule out this being part of the issue.
-Strainer does not seem to have any cracks, o ring is present and snug
-PO installed Perko Flush Pro and I can't see any obvious leaks
-I checked riser gaskets and they are correct direction

Any ideas?

David,
It's the dew point of the air combined with the warm exhaust.

Thanks, I wondered if it could just be that. I just checked a weather station and at the time I noticed it the air temp was 60, dew point 50, water temp 73, and RH 75%.Would that combo make sense to cause a good bit of steam?
