I left mine in the freezer for a few days before even starting, then I used plenty of silicone grease, a big bolt, nut & washers as a puller. Oh, and a big impact driver.
Pounding them in just caused heat build up and a mushroom effect half way through. Big failure. |

I lubed mine up with water soluble lubricant and then pressed it in using a bench vice.

Good news is I got a new bushing. This after trying to press out the inner metal sleeve which I thought might be stuck inside, and thus destroying the bushing. The new one went right in w/ a bit of silicone spray and light shop press pressure. Thanks all...
