The vinyl on my dash is cracked and ripped. I tore the old stuff off and I already bought new vinyl to replaced it. I plan on steaming the vinyl so i can get it done in one piece and make it seamless. My question to you all, is what kind of glue should i be using.
Thanks for any help. |

contact adhesive but make sure you have plenty of hands to help lining it up. Once it's in place, it's there to stay

is there a good way to lay it down. I know that you cant really pre-cut it because your angles will change when you follow the grooves. So do you have to cut it as you lay it down?

To me seems like that would be the best way, just take a piece thats quite a bit bigger then what you need, use the contact spray, stretch it as much as possible & tuck or roll it where possible & trim the rest. I'm not completely sure what your dash looks like so thats just kind of general idea of it all i guess. Good Luck & lets see some before & after pictures when you get it done.
