I just picked this up. I know it’s a correct craft southwing but not sure much beyond that. I am also hoping someone can help me identify the engine in it. It’s currently froze up and I’ve got it soaking in hopes I can free it up. Thanks in advance!

I'd call it a Buick V6, turned into a marine engine. OMC used them and there were also Universal Super Saber V6 engines based on the Buick. Mid to late 60's time frame was when they were used

And in your case it's an inboard-outboard.

Does that dash emblem say Southwind?

And you spelled Southwind wrong in your first post.  Wink

You work fast Wink

That looks like an OMC outdrive from the same timeframe, so it's most likely an OMC marinization of the Buick engine.

You won't find much info here on CCF, but some Goggle searching will turn up some info.

Also look at the forum section of marineengine.com in the OMC section and you'll probably find some info.

Here's a link to their forum section

Maybe somebody around here will have more info

Finding outdrive parts will be a lot harder than finding engine parts if needed.
