I bought this as an engine and transmission donor for the 96 ski nautique that i'm getting ready to rebuild.
i paid 23 hundred bucks and bought ( 2 for price of 1 which total 100 bucks) new wheel hub assemblies that i will install either way. If someone wants it i'll put on new rubber and add it to the cost, they worked from orlando to palm bay and the bearings ran about 100 to 104 degree f but i wouldn't want to take it any further. So total cost is 24 hundred plus rubber and i make no money. I bought this boat from ski world orlando, it was on consignment, the boat title and trailer registration will be mailed to me sometime this week, i towed it home with a bill of sale because of where and who i got it from. the owner of ski world, mike spent 3 hours with me, we had to get ole betsy fired up as she sat for a while and going over the trailer to ensure an event free tow home. Mike / ski world is the third part of this project who i easily owe a thanks to. In my opinion an honest man who had no reason to spend so much time and physically labor in the hot sun for a 2300 dollar consognment boat. Over and above type of guy. Another place and owner who i can with confidence reccomend to others. Once i got it home and started looking at it, it's too nice to strip for parts and send the hull to that big water ski lake in the sky. THE STRINGERS ARE ROTTED AND THE FLOOR IS SOFT, THIS IS A REBUILD PROJECT. it is it's own template from carpet to stringers, foam floor, upholstery wiring, rigging hardware etc and right thru to re assembly. if you pull a tape measure from the rudder post to the dozen or so important nut/bolts up and down the stringers and write down and draw the dimensions with the least amount of tools and skills the two monkeys from the aamco transmission commercial from the 70's could rebuild it. period, it's that good. the rest of the boat is there, in fact it is an excellent candidate for a factory correct rebuild since it is complete, assembled and running (a little rough) the rub rail is straight, the transom is intact and without rust stains, the tracking fins are dead straight with no nicks or scratches, same for the prop shaft strut and rudder. (Reccomend the dual taper shaft and coupler as an upgrade, i did it last time and it's awesome, ) the carpet, the upholstery the seat frames, cushions everything all there. the windshield is intact, the gauges, the switches, the mirror, the deck hardware, all of it intact and if not for the stringers it's a useable boat. The hull is in great shape with very minor and very little scuff/scratches (typical beaching on front of keel) the red stripes are factory applied rustoleum, she will absolutely sand off and clean up to a nice deep shiny blank canvas for a color change if desired. Sits on a correct craft prop gaurd trailer with 6 lug on 5.5, 3500 single axle. There is minor bend pictured that was there when purchased, i also have the fenders either way i'll straighten it. Otherwise the trailer is in my opinion near perfect. no stains, no rust, no rusty flakey hardware, it's a chain of lakes boat which i believe means fresh water inland lakes it's whole life. 40 years old complete intact with wear, someone took care of it. Sell complete 2400 united states, or without engine and transmission 2000 or best offer united states. heres why, if i sold for 50 bucks all the parts except for the trailer,, windshield, engine cradle, pylon, and scrapped the hull i'd be ok but the boat would be gone. Too nice to part and scrap, beat up wrecked ski boats pop up regularly i can always get another engine transmission combo. Either way i'll need you guys input for where to get this or another engine and transmission refreshed by a reputable shop with upfront pricing. gaskets seals and minimum work, valve job, got a clean nuetral and good oil pressure just want stock strong reliable with no leak As a reminder, the 4th picture is yellow rubber from like a dock gaurd, it is not scra5ches in the gel or rubrail, it wipes off |

Yes, it's gray gel and yes florida 32905.
I'm sorry but i have to amend the price by 200 bucks (+/- approx) i realized after the post was up that the paperwork from ski world has the price and my name on it and when that paperwork arrives i will have title and registration fees, and pay tax 6.5 on 2300. It has to be legally mine for me to sell it or scrap it. My apologies, once i transfer the paperwork i'll show whoever wants it the receipts and the price will reflect that to the penny. |
