This BW 1:1 came out of my 80 SN that I just purchased. I had no troubles with it out on the water. No grinding, slipping or not wanting to go into gear. REMEMBER it is 27 years old and you can rebuild it, bolt it on or do whatever you see fit. I am however NOT selling this tranny because its bad I am buying a 1.23:1. Make offer!!!

You do realize youre selling a 27 year old transmission, right? The BW's arent exactly rare- and anyone in their right mind would be buying it as a core and having it rebuilt.

Tim, this guy still has not gotten the message YET.All this stuff he is trying to pawn off is USED,27 YEAR USED.
Then he has the audacity to get pissed when someone either does not want it or gives him a realistic price for the used crap he is trying to peddle here.
Get a life Marine, you ain't gonna reuse this stuff in your boat , why do you think someone on this site will.......
Most of us have been here a while and know what parts are worth, there is a lot of stuff traded here for postage and a donation to the SITE.But that is from the ones that love and want to keep this thing growing, not making a profit using this site........boat dr

I bought 42 brand new surplus Borg Warners about 2 years ago for $4200.00, its a core, it could be 10 minutes from taking a sh*t, if i buy 10 cores i have to rebuild the 10 cores and the descriptions are usually running beautifully when takin out of the boat, transmissions sit in a garage or in the corner of someones shop for a reason and the reason usually is cause they are rebuildable cores. it is a core and thats what it will always be and $100.00 was a generous offer. if the planetary is bad than it isnt even worth the hun, keep this in mind when you do sell it.

Greg, that game I do not play,he will get the same as everyone else on a group buy. But he has said in a post before as to the price Allen quoted him, maybe he needs to go thru Hi Tek. Will get a better price, or maybe he can trade those "used engine parts and a Velvet Drive for a set.............boat dr

Wow you guys crack me up. Seriously though if I was trying to steal your money or get ahead on your misfortune I would have put the parts on ebay. Oh, and also please do remember that I am a Marine, none of this really bothers me nore do I mind if I hurt someones feelings. So I guess it will go to show if all of you bring continue the internet tough guy attitude or if civilized cooler heads prevail. I will continue my project and I hope all of you continue yours, because it seems I have hurt some of your feelings.

Yes we know that you are in the armed services, that will get you two points on the exam. If you subtract the ten points you lost, attitude ,attitude and attitude, you are still in the minus column.
Marine this can be changed. How???? Atitude, Atitude and Atitude. This site did survive before you came on board, it will be tough, but we will struggle thru the depths..And YES we will continue with our pet projects...
The number for that site to peddle your wares is 1-800-EBAY, happy bidding...
You are more than welcome on this site, your attitude is not.........boat dr
