Cleaning out the basement.wife sez 'keep this?". Almost said no..Thought of you guys..
If anyone wants this small hardcover about the Maloon's, the early boat building business, etc to complete their CC collection, just let me know and cover my time and postage to sent it to you...

Got it at the traveling seminar when they announced the 2001 model.

I've read the later version of the book, Parting the Waters, or something like that. Talked about the History of Correct Craft starting with the Variety Boat Company, building of the landing boats for WW2, the decision to make the first fiberglass boats, the story behind the first Ski Nautique, and CC's decision to pay off every one of its debts rather than enter bankruptcy during a dark financial time. If you're a CC nut, an amateur historian, or just want to learn a little more about Correct Craft, you might want to take Gotta Ski up on his offer. BKH

That fits me close enough Brian.

Hey Gotta, you still have that book, I'm interested.

Gotta
It's not that we are not into books (unless there are lots of pictures), it's that we are way into tinkering with our boats, with any spare time we get. Have you got it in books-on-tape format?

Lavine, now that was a cheap shot.......
I am not a sports fan, football baseball or Nascar,I sail , I follow a pack of bird dogs in the woods and shoot at a little bird.
But I have to reply to that shot in defense of my fellow CCF buddy,by the way do you own one???????
We have room to bash more than one person at a time on this site,I can pull up some old posting by 79 and I won't even have to think. Just cut and paste, so ease up .........

I know where his heart is, and one day i will own one again as in the past, i was sick of gasing her up, buying the beer, and polishing it at 9:00 at night by myself....and making the payment

J-bear knows im only bustin his chops, like i said i know where his heart is and he misses strongsville like he misses his first poa,
James i always had a ski boat and was out before dawn and out till dark, every chance i had i was out there, up until i was 35, sometimes life gets in the way and you have to sell everything and start fresh.

eric; Somehow missed this interesting couple of posts...

It was cool to finally talk to you in person...would have never known you were from brunstucky by talkin' to ya. Actually have not missed s'ville since I graduated and moved on in 1969...wow was that a long time ago.

Tried to be a fan of the Florida teams when me and Patti first got here but while I don't miss the Browns at all I still gotta back my Tribe.

Gotta admit you are correct about the buffet and the blue-hairs. We are just getting to the time of year where we can hardly go out of our development for fear of the snow birds. But when you get tired of clouds, cold, and slush...the guest room is ready for ya.
