I have bid on the 82 ski Tique that is on ebay right now 4 times today, and have just looked and my bids have been replaced with a different screen name. Not sure what is going on here, but I just thought I would share this with everyone else. Maybe this is somewhat of the same thing that is going on with the skier everyone is talking about. I did go and look at the boat, all bidders need to be aware that the stringers to me seem to be rotten, just my two cents worth. Everyone have a good weeken

David, Sorry, I thought because of your warning to bidders about the stringers that you missed that we really don't want the boat. You mentioned that you saw the boat. Did you meet the owner? Why do you feel it's a scam? Did you get that idea from looking at the boat?

Pete, I could be wrong, but I dont think David is talking about the Skier in question. He mentioned a '82 Tique that is also on ebay.

Tim, Yup! It's funny that Thursday evening I was just mentioning to Brian that one of the problems with a forum is people don't read previous posts thoroughly. Now I did it!! Sorry David.

Ebay replaces your screen name to protect you from being contacted with fake second chance offers. Also, it's never a good idea to bid up any item you really want - wait until the last few minuets of the auction and then bid the highest price you'd pay for the item. Services like bidnapper.com will bid for you in the last few seconds.

Is this really an '89?

I don't remember seeing a Sport Nautique in the brochure.

Well guys I'm the proud new owner of a Correct Craft MasterCraft Skier jet boat. I've been driving down to FL since the auction ended last night. I'm actually posting this from jbear's as he kindly let me crash for the night. We are picking the boat up in the morning and taking her for a ski immediately. I brought 200' of line so the rooster won't get me. Next stop is skicat's place, then the Pinkham Palace.

Thanks BK!

I like my '89 2001 better. Probably because I'm biased!

HW, I think you should stop at the Pinkham place FIRST. Take Reid with you to pick up the boat and make sure he doesn't forget his wallet.
