Not a big deal, but I think the whole boat, not just the dash is Martinique. Windshield and seat are Martinique too. I suppose someone could have swapped those out, but I doubt anyone cut and reconfigured the Nautique dash with the dual speedos integrated into the fiberglass to accomodate a new dash. Which is ok. Nothing wrong with a Martinique, just not a Ski Nautique.

He responded:

Hey man I appreciate your concern and you being nice about it...but we would 100% not misrepresent what the boat is and we too had the same concerns and had it checked by two repubtable ski boat mechanics and we called Correct Craft. What would your suggestion be as to what we should do? We don't want anyone else to think this. We are 100% that it is Ski Nautique. Thank you. Reg

I got a very nice response that stated he has been told by several that it is not a nautique. He was sorry & did not intend to misrepresent the boat. He was not that knowledgable about the boat & that is what he had been told. I guess it is sinking in.

4 step pads too! Maybe he looked at the pictures that were sent to him. It is funny how the HID isn't available. A 73 will have it molded into the transom.

What's a HID?!? I see that he's added additional information pertaining to his emails. Looks like this guy is willing to admit to his mistake, although appears to be an honest one. (but the "talked to Correct Craft" part still boggles me)
Perhaps he is not an "E-bayhole of the Week" after all. I knew Pete would get through to him!!!!

Adam, I ment to write HIN and not HID! Sorry, about the typo!

I too got a email back from the seller. Very plesent and stated he would change the ebay ad. Tim's first email must have shocked him and the reason for the sharp reply.

Regarding him talking to CC, I say it was all in the way he described the boat. If he told them it has "Ski Nautique" on the sides then maybe they told him it must be a Ski Nautique! It sounds like he doesn't know where the HIN is or even if it came up durring that conversation. CC would have the records on a 73.

Well, here's a rare one...

As the seller states..
This is a 1981 Correct Craft Ski Supreme, it is identical to Mastercrafts and Ski Nautiques, they are all just sister companies of Correct Craft.

hmmm, learn something new all the time!?

General question to seller.

"This is a 1981 Correct Craft Ski Supreme, it is identical to Mastercrafts and Ski Nautiques, they are all just sister companies of Correct Craft."

I've never read so much bull*************** in one sentence.

General question to seller:

"Jake, I'm confused as to who made this boat. Ski Supreme. Mastercraft or Correct Craft?? I've never seen a Correct Craft like it nor was I aware that Correct Craft had sister companies. Could you fill me in? Nice looking boat but was wondering if you know what kind of paint your friend used and if it is easily removed. How is the hull and original gel coat under the paint?
Thanks, Pete"

I sent him a polite note too, something to the affect of:

"Oh my goodness, the only thing correct in that whole listing is that it is not a Master Craft. It is not a Correct Craft either. It is a Ski Supreme, which is in no way related to any of the other companies"

He responded with

"Oh my goodness...it says Correct Craft on the Title."

There's another Supreme being marketed as a CC on Craigslist that someone here just posted on the Craigslist thread. Even though these people are stupid, I guess they are smart enough to know a CC has a better chance of selling.

Get a ***************in life you pile of ***************, and buy a real mans car.

Back to the POS boat you are trying to get rid of. That is a Ski Supreme, I know because my gay neighbor has the same thing. It is not a MasterCraft or a Correct Craft. You don't know a thing about boats obviously. I work at a boat dealer in the summer. Some idiot titled it as a Correct Craft, that doesn't mean ***************. I'll bet it even says Ski Supreme all over the interior, and underneath that dog*************** paint job on the side too. Stevie wonder wouldn't be caught dead in that thing. I'd rather have a Bayliner.

Get a clue, then get a life you moron. So you're selling the boat because you couldn't get up on skis, then tried the wakeboard and sucked at that just like you do your boyfriend???

From my "wife" to the seller:

"Sir, This is your opening description of your boat: "This is a 1981 Correct Craft Ski Supreme". I did some searching for 1981 Correct Crafts and can't find a model that looks like your boat. Are you sure it's a Correct Craft? I'm looking for a wake board boat for my son and he says that Correct Crafts are the best boat ever made. Can you direct me or provide a on line link for some more information on your boat?
Thanks in advance, Diane"

Answer back to my "wife":

"Dear dianeruth41,

I wakeboard behind this boat every weekend, I thought it was a correct craft but possibly not, although the hull design motor tranny and everything in the boat is identical to any mastercraft, correct craft or ski nautique of its year and model. Im sorry If I havent answered your question more accurately. Do you have any other questions??
Jake

- five-0toofast4u"

Question back to seller:

"Jake, My son is really set on getting a Correct Craft. Is there a identification number on the boat? I could call up Correct Craft and see if they have records of it. What is it titled as?
Thanks, Diane"
