Jerry we should all be at Hontoon Island by 10 am or at least on the way. I think what little plan we have is to leave Paramores by 8:00am. I believe it will truly be decided by the Fans that are there and how soon all can re-coop from the previous nights activities and can get going. Some may opt not to make the 25 mile run up river and settle for some smooth open water on one of the side lakes on the way. Your guess is as good as mine. You may want to call ahead to see what's the scoop! If you can get anyone.

Can't believe I'm saying this but it's gonna be hard to leave this beautiful midwest weather we're having. We're in the 70's all week so the 2012 ski season is underway here in Iowa. I may even be in skiing shape by the time we get to Florida a week from today!

Barges come through from time to time sweet you can hang a rope on and you'll be home in no time! I wouldnt want to paddle from SR44 to SR40 long 17 miles of not a thing. i've driven it in pitch black night with a mag light I can't recommend that one again.

A week to go for me for this years SJRR and the weather is shaping up to be PERFECT. Mostly Sunny with a high's in the low 80's and low's in the high 50's at night. I'm getting really anxious to get down there and enjoy a 5 day weekend of boating, skiing, boarding, footing, eating and drinking, with you guy's.

Assuming my boat is not the one in need of a tow I am always happy to provide one.. just keep the weight to the back cause we aint got all day and catching a chine is no fun.
I plan to be hanging in the glen a fair amount.. A good portion of sunday for sure.. if you are looking for us give me a call at 315 567 1273 The run is so close I can taste it. All that is left now is to devise the best way to check hot dogs for what a 100 or 150 people onto the plane for the first leg of the journey, shouldnt be and issue right ?. It's been hot down there so I suspect water temps will be just about right for a northern boy. |

Salt Water???? Wrong Glen partner. And yes, I'm sure as Joe said, we'll be there a fair amount. I love that place so I'm expecting to be there at least one day with my swim mask, flippers, and beverage a la incognito. |

Is anyone leaving the orlando area/airport Friday after lunch. Trying to catch a day earlier flight and would like to hitch a ride up to the reunion. The rest of my family is flying in Sat. And will get the rental car then. If I can get this done it looks like the earlier flight gets in about 1230 pm Friday.
Thanks Bill |

HOT DOGS ARE FOR "TOP SECRET RESEARCH", THATS WHAT I TOLD THEM ABOUT ICE IN MY COOLER.
WENT OUT TODAY FOR PROP CHECK AND NEW CARB ADJUSTMENT, WATER TEMP VARIED 72-74. WIND PICKED UP IN THE AFTERNOON. ITS AT THE POINT WHERE YOU WOULD OR WOULD NOT NEED A SPRING SUIT TODAY. |
