I noticed that too. I found this on the site too. Guy in Chatham sold it not that long ago. Going to check it out either tomorrow or Friday.

Looking at the picture again, I noticed the "U" bends made out of PVC pipe under each manifold. Any guesses on what they are?
If anyone takes a look at this boat, ask plenty of questions since between the air filter and the orange oil filter, I'd put the guy in the back yard hack category!!

If I'm not mistaken he made the entire exhaust manifold out of PVC and it has 360* of bend to round it to the transom.

John,
I thought the same at first but if you look where the snail risers are, it looks like they go directly out the transom. I used the aft deck railing as a reference, The PVC is also lower than where the exhaust exits the transom??
I emailed the seller asking about the PVC. I'll see if he responds.

Notice the LH prop!

I looked at the picture once again and maybe it is his exhaust? Installed as a means of muffling? I wish there was a picture looking aft showing the PVC piping.

I just got an email from the seller. Yes, the extra PVC is exhaust. It would be interesting to find out how well all those 90's and 180's quiet the sound.

I got another email from the Separator seller. Well, it turns out he did not install all the PVC for sound. He said it was to eliminate the rubber hose but, I have a feeling it was more to get the exhaust lined up with the holes in the transom. The Separators came with two exhaust layouts. One had the snails aft so the exhaust went out the transom high. Then the other was snails forward with U bends directing the exhaust aft Then hose under the manifolds so the exhausts went out the transom low. He's got the manifolds on backwards!!

Jeff,
Where are you? What's your take on the exhaust?

Peter,
I wonder how big of a bilge pump he has!

Not nearly as clean as the pictures indicate, unfortunately. Gel cracking, hole in carpet, split seams on the interior. Trailer is pretty rough. Still a good deal but not the gem it may appear to be.

Have you seen this boat in person? I can't see any of what you're saying in the ad pics (not that I'm denying your claims).

Oh I see I'm late to the party. Swear the previous post wasn't on my phone until now. Still, at that price I would not be embarrassed to ski that boat.

I wonder if those SU's are marinized.

The one's I had on an old Volvo leaked when the choke was pulled!

Good thing I already have 2 boats and am paying tuition or I would be driving to Arkansas tomorrow for that boat.

Is this a strong enough way to add a trailer winch?

That ad doesn't smell right. Beautiful boat & trailer (winch mount looks great).

Either that is a 10 yr old photo or there is something major wrong with boat, like stringers or drivetrain.

Or it is a total scam.
