Nice. Looks like you've hooked up with some footer friends at your level to work on new stuff with. That's a big help. Looks like you need bow thrusters to get turned around. Don't have to worry about power turns on that water, do you?

Oh MY!!!! Cool video and it does look like great flat water. The fact that it is such tight quarters there is no way to share it with others. You may be on to something here!

Had an awesome day yesterday. Went snowskiing in the morning then went footing in the afternoon. Snow was bad and so was the water but still had fun. I dont know if this was much of an accomplishment or not but did my first front to back on the wooden shoe skis (I dont know what they are actually called but are the ones from lake elmo sports) on the second try then did it again. Waiting on the video to get downloaded.

That looks picture perfect....from the start to the end. Including the water. I did see about three 1/4 inch ripples at the halfway mark!

Hopefully I never really have to use them. Need to man up and do it on the real shoe skis.

So guys I have a question. I know my boat is not a CC and the prop spins the "wrong way" but I am looking to buy a new prop for it. Boat has a 350 with 1:1 trans and a 1in shaft. Acme recommended the 541 which is a 13x12. They also have a 543 which is a 13x11.5. Oj recommended a 13x11. I am also at 5280. We slalom ski alot but also barefoot alot. I am trying to get max top end without loosing much slalom get up. What do you guys think.

That is what I have heard. Just wondering if I could sacrifice a bit more for slalom to get one more mph for barefoot.

I have an excellent used 541 for sale if that's the direction you want to go (which I agree with).

I would agree with joe normally... But that mile high altitude has me wondering if you could use a little less pitch (543).

What kind of revs/speed are you pulling now with your (presumably stock) 13x13 3-blade (federal?). Prop specifics would help. GPS speed and verified accurate tach please.
