We would also enjoy going at least one day to the River Run. What day would be best to attend and what is the cost?

How many hours north of Orlando? Sorry, really on the outside looking in on this one. Any help appreciated.

Thanks-Scott

Scott,
We have a factory tour setup for wednesday morning at 10AM (tentatively)already with The Godfather. Myself, JBear and Quinner are picking up Kapla from the airport at 9AM and heading to the tour right from there. That is subject to change though depending on Kap's flight status. Guess we're kinda at the mercy of the airlines at this point.

You're welcome to join in on the tour if you'd like.

Scott,
We will be taking a tour at the factory Thursday morning. Give Larry in customer service a call at 407-851-4141 to let him know you want to take a tour and when.

Eddie,

Can "anyone" join the CC factory tour on Wed?
We will be somewhere in FL all week. Not sure of our "day by day" schedule, but would love to see the factory sometime?

Heck yes, Steve. Would love to have you join in. I'm guessing that there must be some kind of limit on head counts. If it gets much above 20 I'll probably have to call Godfather and let him know....

OK, so here is the plan. I talked to my wife, sounds like Thursday is the day for the plant tour! Thanks for the offer on Wednesday, that would have also been awesome. It sounds like we will be in the everglades on Wednesday, but if something changes, I will contact Quinner's phone. ScottZ, I will contact Larry about scheduling in on the tour Thursday. Hopefully we can get a chance to see Bruce from the parts department!

We are also in for Saturday! Is it possible to get a contact number from someone to help coordinate a time and place to meet on Saturday? BBQ after a day on the water sounds awesome, let us know what we can bring to help the cause. Hopefully someone will have space in their boat for some extra CCF passengers! We look forward to getting in the water, hopefully ski! All this sounds like an absolute blast! It's been a few years since going to Green Lake, so it will be great to see old friends!

Thanks for all the response!

BTY-We still have about 32 inches of ice on the lakes! Spring temps in the 50's have finally arrived here in Minnesota.

Scott,
Boat Dr. put an address in of 123 S. Joanna Ave. Tavares, FL for the show. If you get yourself to Tavares, Lake Eustis is on one side and Lake Dora on the other. Find Lake Dora and I guarantee you can't miss it. I'm guessing parking will be a nightmare so you're on your own there. There will be a CCFan tent set up near the water. The CC Coral will be filled with boats (or they'll be coming and going throughout the day). Pick a year boat you want a pull from and/or a ride and I'm sure somebody will accomodate you.

My cell is 407-733-3599. Give me a buzz and I'll help you out anyway that I can.

Then later in the day we'll all be headed back to Astor which is about a 35 mile drive to Parramores for more fellowship and feast. It can be a long day so plan accordingly.

WOW, it's almost time again to see everyone and meet new members as well..

For an update on the tours, I will be giving a tour for the group on Wednesday at 10. But I will not be here on Thursday, so you will have to get the tour from Larry. Scott just let Larry know you want to speak with Bruce on the tour.

Looks like this event will have a great turn out....

I'm thinking me and the wife will be lodging around the event area.

Just trying something new this year..

Scott,
What time are you thinking of going to the factory on Thursday? We arent sure of our schedule yet and want to check the options out. If that works better for us, you mind if we join in with you?

That would be great! We would have lots to talk about. I had a 1973 Red/White and Blue for about three years. I will call Larry on Monday. I was hoping for something around 10am, but we are very flexible for the afternoon.

How many in your group? When I call Larry, I will include your numbers with ours.

Anyone else from CCF, let me know, I will include your totals too.

ScottZ,

I know that you wanted o also go on Thursday. What time did you request. It would be awesome to be there at the same time. We also have a lot to talk about since my dads first Nautique was a Candy Apple 1968!

Hope to hear back from you, or anyone else that can make it on Thursday.

There would be 2 of us doing the tour. Still not sure of which day , but kind of leaning towards Thursday. I'm thinking the 10AM would be a good time as well.

Scott, We'll be putting in a Parramores Thursday afternoon and playing on the St. Johns River and probably head to Lungren Island, Lake George if the wind isn't blowing and the water is glass or, The Silver Glen Springs. It's roughly a 6 hour ride for me so I plan to be there round 1:00ish and will be ready for a cold beer and a ski run. We've been out on Lake George once in the 5 years we've been doing this when the water was smooth as glass and we were running boats 6 a breast at 35 mph within 20 feet of each other. It was REALLY cool to see and be a part of til the speed demons started racing and pulling away from the rest of us 40mph slow pokes.

Here's what I'm taking about....Wakeslayer took this in 2009!

We dug the 73 out of storage Friday night, planning to bring her with us to SJRR.. Changed oil yesterday. Getting my truck ready today.

Thought I would do some minor detailing on the 73 before supper... This is where I ended up.....

(found a weak spot in my port exhaust hose... you can see the rusty re-enforcement wire in the first photo, just above the black carpet)...
