I was told that it is indeed paint, but I do not know what kind. Apparently, the yellow gel would not come back.

Reid has a way of blaming everything on Jerry. It is probably still Reid's boat, but he is getting flack over not finishing it, so it became Jerry's boat!

From reidp ---I'm traveling on the road today and for some reason I can't post on the website.  Could you add this for me under the eBay thread.

So Greg, what you're saying is that I have a future in politics?  Actually that boat has been out of my possession for at least five years now.  I sold it to a local buddy who have it painted since indeed the gelcoat wouldn't come back.  He lost interest in it and then I brokered the deal for Jerry to get it from him.   That was a good 2 yrs. ago and it's been in storage since.  So by all means bug Jerry, not me.  Current status is that it desperately needs new stringers and since we have a new, and more than capable team member, Gary, of Shrimp Tique fame, maybe that work'll finally get done.  Jerry has big plans for this boat:-)

Just FYI.

On the wood grained version, you mean? That could very well be... I believe the 2 black rimmed styles are 15" and 13".

What a Mess.

Think the engine box will close on that?

Look at the coil mount

Check out those controls

At least they took the time to paint the block during the engine rebuild.......

Wow

Wow that is quite scary. Looks like somebody is trying to do a quick turn and make some fast money. I'd bet under that carpet the stringers are gone...
