Pete, Did she say what color she was going to cast the rubber in? I've been through this before! I pulled a master and cast in black urethane and then sprayed them with vinyl paint. It peeled and yellowed! The white casting urethane isn't user friendly and only one manufacturer makes white. Vacuum degassing and heat is required. Big PITA and I never got a decent pad. The casting white will also turn yellow in the sun. The white pads need to be injection molded in Sanoprene. You need a plastic injection mold for this!!

Hello all. I am going to be doing some restoration work for a lady who is a graphic artist who also does casting. She is taking the side logo off of my 67 Mustang and going to scan it and plot the logo so she can make decals. She thinks she can cast new logos in a resin and paint it to look polished aluminum. She can also cast in rubber so I thought if someone could send me a step insert I could have her make a master cast and then there would be a source for steps. Let me know what everyone thinks.
