what did you do with the trailer it came with? I see you have a new shoremaster under it now? If you still have the trailer i might be interested in taking it off your hands.

Can you please post a pic of the front wetted hull section from both the side and from dead ahead? I ask because it looks like you followed the chine with the red color as I am intending and I would really like to see the resulting effect.
Thanks. |

Yes I plan on removing side pockets and carpeting the boat this weekend. Do you think it effects the side structure by removing the side pockets? |

Sorry keeping the trailer. Having the trailer sand blasted and painted black. |

$950 - I think you got a great deal. You can't get a car painted for that!

Thanks pal. That is exactly what i wanted. perfect. We have finally picked out the colors. We are doing a high gloss doark greay topsides right through the dash, the black dash is going by by. The rub rail and tower will be black. The decks and inner hull sides will be powder blue gel and the cushions powder blue with a gray stripe.
I hope it comes out as nice as yours did. I just picked up the bell housing and drive plate for the engine. I am running a 300 hp 5.7 GM Vortech with a 1:1 gear, No I have to find a left handed prop. |

I really like the graphics you put on. I guessing they are vinyl?

That is just sweet looking. I'm looking at vinyl for my 77 rebuild as well and like the more modern look, but will probably try to find some a little more like the original. The gel is shot on my boat and while I'd love to re-gel and hand paint the graphics I will probably end up painting as well.
Thanks for posting the pics. Allen |

78, looks awesome! What did you end up doing for carpet? I'm in the market for the same red/black.
Thanks, Noel |

As this is an older thread, I'm not sure if I will get a response, but will try anyways.
I see that you obtained new valve covers for the 351W. Did one of them come with a slotted opening to accept the flanged breather? Or did you make some modifications to work? The reason that I ask is that I am looking to replace my valve covers on my 76, but most anything nowadays, both covers have round holes without a provision for a flanged breather. Thanks! |
