Go Seahawks,
Not too much in the way of a National championship teams here in Seattle unless you go back to mid 70's basketball. New England share the wealth. It is entertaining to listen to some of you beat each other up on these threads (and it's only Dec, what will it be like by the first of March). Do we need all the negative vibes in every thread though. It's taking away from a great web site. Enjoy the Holidays |

That's right, whatwas I thinking. The playoffs will have to do. Not for long. Aemmer, IMO yesterday's negativity came from one regular member that seemed disturbed. Most of us may be passionate, but not crazy. |

Yeah, they got caught, but we all know everyone else is doing the same thing, did it change the outcome of the game....maybe.Did it change the outcome of the rest of their season....I doubt it.NO ONE can deny that they are a great team. How many Superbowl rings does Brady have? How many does Peyton have? As far as running up the score,Bill Belechick(sp) said it best in a post game conference..... "It's not the offense's job to stop the offense,it's the defense's.The game isn't over until the last whistle blows Mike |

running up the score? What are NFL players supposed to be sensitive now and worry about the other teams self esteem? the cheating part was stupid on the Pats part, but it doesn't take away the tallent of their team. |

leaving in your starting offense after a 30+ point lead = running up the score

Belichick ? = Class ?
Moss = Class ? How many illegitimate kids does pretty boy Brady have now ? = Class ? You want to see a team with Class, look at the 1989 49ers roster. Montana, Rice, Craig, Lott and the ever great Walsh leading the way. ( I'm just poking fun all you Pat fans...... BRady is actually from the Bay Area in Nor Cal, so I'm somewhat of a fan ) |

I don't remember the 1989 team. I'm new to football, never cared about it until the Pats started winning and my kids started following it. Now I'm a fan, but I dont't KSFS.

I just have to interject here. I personally would like to see the Pats run the table. Just to say I was saw it happen . . . again since '72. Also like to see the '07 Fins loose all sixteen for the same reason.
Now keep in mind that I'm a diehard Packers fan, but I can't blame the Pat's for anything they're doin'. Everyone says the Pat's are cheaters. You can't tell me that every other team in the league hasn't tried getting other teams signals! Why do you think every team in the league changes their signals every week? They got caught, took the penalty and fine like men and are just telling the NFL in their own way to shove the fine and draft pick right up their a**. You want class? How about Brady turning down a HUGE payday after he won his first Super Bowl. He just wanted a portion (granted still a good sized portion) of what the Pat's offered him and he told them to take the rest of it and put it into the team so that they can keep winning Super Bowl's. It's obviously working!!!! He told them what he is now making is more than enough to setup him and his parents for the rest of their lives. He takes his parents all over the world on golf trips in the off season and in his spare time, he's doin' super models. Has Manning, Favre, Tomlinson, Bush, Elway, Marino, Favre or anybody else ever done that? I know for a fact that Vick didn't either. That's class boy's!!!! When was the last time you saw Brady in a national TV commercial? He doesn't need or want anything to do with them. If he has the multi-million dollar endorsements from Nike, Reebok, McDonalds or anyone else, you don't see him advertising it! I am so sick of seeing Payton Manning on every other commercial on Sunday's! If Manning spent as much time doing his job as he spends doing commercials, he may be able to beat the Pat's. And the last one. Pat's are running up the scores. Horsesh*t! Put a defense on the field to stop their offense. Last year in the AFC Championship game the Pat's were leading the Colts 21-3 at one point and the Colts came back and won. If I was a coach, I would be reminding evey guy on that team about that fact and making sure that they are playing football for 60 minutes. If that means that a score goes up to 50+ points, so be it. Where is it written that at a certain time during a game with a certain lead determines whether a team can comeback or not? They are a team and coaching staff that are making sure that they do NOT allow that kind of comeback win to happen to them again. That team is just an exciting machine to watch. That coming from a fan of a team that is also having a fantastic season. If the Pat's were to meet the Packers in the SB, as much as the I would love to see the Packers win, I would also like to see the Pat's win if for no other reason than to shut up the '72 Dolphins. |

When people run down to the lake to see what's making that noise, you've succeeded.

The main reason the Patriots got in trouble for videoing the signal calling is because the league actually sent out a memo beforehand telling everyone not to do it.
I would also like to see the Patriots go undefeated just to shut up the '72 Dolphins, but if it happens, you know they will say it's tainted because of the videotape issue. Shula has already brought it up. |

Piping In crowd Noise Please Allan, Not needed go to any bar in Indiana during a colts game on TV and it's just as loud as in the Dome Us hoosiers are a bunch of load mouths. The one time it was feed back from the TV crew not the colts and report as so by the national media. So keep trying.
Also for those that think Payton hoards his money and doesn't spend it on his family or any one else is very uninformed, he spends a lot of time and money on and with his family. And then There is the Big ticket item he has and That is he basically single handedly finances I local CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL, not only does he pay bills for the children he actually builds new wings for the hospital so all of those advertising dollars is going to a worthy cause. You guys are just pissed because he's so sweeckie clean and down to earth. |

Eddie, always figured you were one of them there Packer Backers. Hate to admit it, but with the Bears being done, I am all over the Favre band wagon, would really like to see him finish his career, if that ever happens, on a high note!

'Course I'll have to restock the Beam...HW tried to drink all I had in the house. Made me stay up later than I've been in awhile...in fact not since NC. john |
