About the only occasional regret I have with my 93 is the lack of a rear seat. Although, the floor space there makes more room for gear. And, it's also not getting stepped on when people are getting on and off the boat after skiing etc. I got a portable seat from West Marine and I throw that in there on the rare occasions we really need it.
I'm glad it doesn't have some of the bells and whistles of the time, shower, radio, Pro-Tec, etc. Seems like more stuff to break on a 25+ year old boat. A little more storage would be welcome, but the boat would have to be bigger for that, which I'm also glad it's not. |

My backseat is removed about 80% of the time . More room for gear - fatsacs etc. I also like the lack of bells and whistles also . Keep it simple .

Feels like I am hanging 10 but in reality - probably hanging 6.

The new 200 is finally up on their web page, looks sweet!
Now I want to know if the hull is changed or not from the old 200? They make it sound like it is not the same hull as the old 200? https://www.nautique.com/models/nautique-200 |

Looks the same except for the side storage. Have they released the price?
Pete, when the kids are in a tube, at least they're behind the boat and not on land looking at their phones. A giant step closer to being on skis. |

Skip the tube step altogether and go straight to the skis
Lots of wasted interior/floor space with that deck |

Hmm. May do better than I originally thought. Will be interesting to watch.
A lot will hinge on price. BKH |

Seems odd they didn't use up any of the storage that is clearly blocked off by the gigantic white fiberglass interior sides where pockets would normally be. It does look more ski boaty without the side storage pods in the rear.

I can’t stand this. Kids are no longer raised by parents but rather IPads. I’m with most, the deck has killed a lot of space. I feel like my 93 has a better setup. Also feel like this is a Sport Nautique all over again but maybe that’s what they were shooting for. But it definitely looks better than the 2019 Stealth Bomber Ski Nautique. |

And what makes you think anybody on this site knows any more than you could find out from watching the videos ? It's not exactly the bare bones stripped down version that it seems people were hoping for I do have to admit though, it has pretty much everything on it that I don't want on a boat |

My 93 has a portable jump seat that I’ve only seen in one other 93. I love it. Without I have more open space than any SN I’ve been in then that once or twice a year I need a back seat I drop it in and it doesn’t look universal or out of place. Upholstery lines look like a normal 93 back seat. |

What I like in my ‘93 is the missing middle cushion. It works great for access, but people can still sit in the corners. That said, this new 200 looks awesome. Clean lines, great driver-focused helm, and - it is a ski machine! Interesting to see it pull tubes in that video on a private ski site. Lol. Marketing....
So, if you want a closed-bow machine you get the funky-looking Ski, but if you want an open bow you get the 200? |

I like what I see. Not as bare bones as Ken said, but like the comments above that, a super bare bones boat probably wouldnt sell real well, like the 93. This may be a good boat for serious skiers who dont have the 1oo Gs for a new "Ski Nautique" Like Brian said, a lot will hinge on price. If its too high, the non 100 K skiers will opt for used boats. Will have to be a pretty reasonable savings from the stealth bomber. Maybe it will be a similar relationship like between the 210/230 and the Gs. Everyone wants a G, but some people get the 210/230 for pricing purposes. Me, if I had the dough and was interested in a wake boat would probably get the 210 anyway. Too old school for the barge lines of the Gs.

Maybe they brought it back realizing that the barges they are currently making are just too big for all of the little lakes and ponds out there. It will be interesting to see what the price ends up being

Yeah, 79,000 base pricing. Likely doesn't include destination fees or trailer.
They picked a humdinger of a color scheme for the main advertising boat, looks basically all white when in the water and was the #1 boat N3 had in inventory the longest of any. Everyone just looked at it then said "Nah I will order my own". Which was all of about 3 buyers. I think it was a 12 we finally sold in 2015. Even Mars man passed on it back then IIRC. |

It's kind of a porker
It looks like it weighs 550 pounds more than the 2018 SN 200 3400 vs 2850 pounds dry weight |

Did the closed bow version save that much weight? Does carbon fiber or lack thereof cause that much weight differential?

According to the video it's 3300 pounds without the tower and 3400 with the tower. A lot heavier either way than the 2018 SN200. The open bow and closed bow versions both weigh the same 2850 |

With a nearly 20% weight gain, I wonder what that’s going to do to the wake.
