sometimes one is led to believe things that are not necessarily true, in turn changing the outcome, a good example is this oil problem, its being dropped onto our current man in charges lap and it will spun that way by special interest groups, He has nothing to do with the oil spill except concern....will he make BP accountable, probably but it will tarnish his name also, things like this are the big picture.

The original concept of the "Tea Party" had it right. Take back our country. The media made it about taxes and right wing extremests, but we really need to start controlling our polititions. For too long both parties are looking out for themselves and trying to make us believe they are doing it for our well being. That being said it seems that only those in politics are getting any benefits. They are giving entitlements to those that are lazy and the poor working class folks are paying for it. They earmark the hell out of any one good item with perks here and there and blame each others party for the costs or if it is a bad plan. They pass bills that no one reads let alone understands. When times are bad they add taxes to working folks and vote themselves a raise. They scam the system for every dollar they can pocket and are arrogant about doing it. They don't come from a business world yet try to run everyones business. This is not dem or rep but both. They have been given too much control and we the people have to suffer without any chance of changing things. Yes we can vote in a few new people but they are out numbered, get bullied on day one and eventually conform to or suffer at the hands of seasoned polititions. Placing blame hear does nothing but allow one to vent. This whole process will need to implode and be started fresh. Maybe a third party would help, maybe term limits, I don't know, I don't profess to haave the answers but it is easy to see there is a problem here in our country and it is getting worse. $.02
