Not that I have seen yet. Tim is first up for that because he gladly gave up an NOS gauge to another CCF'r a few days ago!

Hey Zack,
I'm looking for a cover for a 98 Sport with a Tower, would any of these that were listed earlier still be around and fit the sport? What does the x2 mean? If the covers are not for towers, depending on price, I can perhaps tweak the cover to fit around the towers. 00 air/sport x2 CP Navy 98 Sport Navy 98 Sport x2 Forest Green 00 Sport/Air Navy thanks, feel free to hit me up at pphilip@gmail.com Patrick |

Is the 87 Cover a full fitted cover? If so please email me (you have it from the interior peices I bought last month), or PM me what you need for it. I've got a blue over ivory hull but I do need a good fitted cover to keep the nasty rain out.

You really need a cover designed to fit your boat. Its not about how it would look, its about how it would fit. A poor fitting cover simply wouldnt shed water or stay on properly. If youre just looking for a dust cover (boat kept inside) then just about any size/material would be fine. Assuming this is for outdoor (either on the water or on the trailer) storage, then you want a cover for a 2nd gen Ski Nautique (1970-81) or Martinique (1970-79). An '80-81 SN would fit best because the windshield is a single pane front... but the others would still work pretty well. You could potentially have a larger cover resized by a local upholstery shop, but that could get a little pricy- especially if theyre moving all the places where the cover is reinforced/fitted (windshield, bow light, lifting rings, cleats, etc), in addition to the outside footprint and drawstring. You have to get a really good deal on the cover to make this an economically viable option. That being said, youre in line behind me on any red/burgundy/gray cover for a '80 Nautique, as I need one as well! For reference, you can get a cheaper poly or poly blend cover in the $200-250 range that will fit the boat *ok*. Ive done this in the past and have sworn not to waste my time or money again with it, as the fit still isnt great and the material is simply inferior... but its still an option that will hold you over for a few years if budget is a major concern. A proper fitting cover from Angola (one of the few places I trust to get the pattern right) would be in the $500 range for Sunbrella fabric. |
