Trying to make it down Sat morning. Have our lake association meeting Friday night. If it works out, one guest, either the 89 or 99 will bring food and bev.
Keeping my fingers crossed it all works out.

So counting Eric's (which I am) we're up to nine boats, excluding the Benjamin armada...not too shabby.

Uncle Todd, are you gonna be around with the Plastic Classic? Somehow I missed getting a ride in that last year...

Adam, Your more than welcome to take it for a cruise.

Tim M, I do remember you riding in TRBenj's repowered Tique with the brown seat stains!! The Classic and BBBII will return this year, Friday, or earlier. and your more than welcome to go cruising with your New Haven Guest.

PS, Very Large front bench seat on the Classic, and working Nav lights for after sunset.

Here's a refresher Vid from last year and the reason for the stains.

Hey Steve, just saw you never got a response to this, were you aiming the question at my dad? He's flying up to my place and then we're driving across, but we'll have more than enough good times to be shared when we get to CT!

Yep - at the Masters your Mom and Dad said that my place as a halfway point might work on the way up.... Penciled that time in. If he's flying - no need to worry about it.

Have a great time and my best to all up there.............

I suppose that's important too...but will it take all weekend? You could always pop up after, especially if your wife is like my mom who needed to be removed from the situation after my stuff was unloaded. I love you mom, but I don't want to be the kid in the dorm who's mom is there all helping me move in, haha.

Gonna try to see some folks for the Adirondack a few weeks later though...

For everyone who has asked me what they can contribute food wise, here are a few ideas that are really easy:

burgers
buns (burgers/dogs)
ice
other grillables

Of course, if you really want to make a pasta dish, dessert, etc, thats fine too- just give me a heads up and I'll make a note of it!

This is shaping up to be a pretty solid event... looking forward to it!

As usual summer moves quick- all the sudden it is time to head back to lake Benjamin for a few days of fun and sun.   Assuming I don’t get too distracted the next couple days with the mid eighties weather and the interior demolition of the new house I should have the rig all packed and ready to go so I can leave directly from work Thursday - should put me at the boat launch by 8pm.   I assume I am going to stay through Sunday night – either leave late or if others are still kicking I will drive out earlyish Monday morning. If anyone has something that needs working on/futzing with that requires parts or tools let me know. Or for that matter anything else that I have promised anyone anywhere along the line.. it is always good to remind me.

Don’t forget your trick skis people!

Talked with Reid yesterday so the plan for me is to fly to Charlotte after work today and hit the road first thing in the morning.Barring no trailer problems, we should be there by dinner time tomorrow night. If we're lucky enough, we'll be able to get a slalom run in or two before the sun goes down. Looking forward to this one y'all so as to meet a few CCFans I haven't met yet and just hang with the ones I already know. Hope the days end allot like this......

Brad, I'm bringing your tires so save some room for the trip home.

We also have a square windshield off a '74 Skier. It is complete, but in pieces. It's not in great condition, but is complete. Free to anyone that wants it. Let me know and I'll bring it.
