I'm happy I'll be able to meet both at GL. It's always a extra pleasure it meet a CCfan'r from other parts of our world.

They will also be "blown away" having the opportunity to visit Bourbon St. and the French Quarter!!

I did not realize that they are visiting New Orleans. What a contrast that will be from Green Lake!

Kristof is flying into New orleans Monday nite, we will find a room. Then show him the Quarter that nite and Cajun coffee in the AM before the trip home.
There is a lot to see between here and there..

Roger,
You'd fly straight into Chicago, O'Hare International and drive 3 hours North... That's the easiest route and easiest to book out of the UK.. If you can get it done, we'll all look forward to meeting you and buying you some "good" beer !!!

So, with a Month or so to go, we have 22 boats?????????????? We go from 60 to less than half?? Now I know a lot of our long distance friends can't make it this year, but where's the rest of our Midwest contigency?? How about the Eastern Mainstays ???

I already promised warm temps and warmer water this year...

Come on now... Winter is long over and Spring skiing is already happening.. Please get on and register, so we can complete the planning and such...

Thursday night is of course open to anyone wanting to stop by the park and join us for a great BBQ and fun times...

OK, lets talk it up, whether speed runs, skiing clinics and or drinking contests.... We can't go into the 5th Anniversary get together with 25 boats...

If you haven't made it yet to Green Lake, and have any questions, please let me know. Email me @ d.dorsen@att.net or give me a shout via cell @ 630-842-4124.... This event is sure to please. Keith will soon post the schedule of events, so you all know what to expect..
Thanks..

Roger,
I found out that Chicago is your best bet. It's the cheapest ticket to get.
You can always try to book a ticket through www.connections.be, this is a great site to book cheap flight tickets all over the world.
If you come, try to get there on thursday. I still got some free seats in the car I rented . I land at Chicago O'Hare at 13.15 hr. Also got a place to sleep at the Lakeside motel, since my buddy Jo can't make it...
You can always give me a call: +32476259477

Joe assured me he would be picking up the tab for the camp sites, so I might as well come and stay for free.

Call it a hunch- but something tells me that you'll need to be flirting with 60mph to take home a "Bay Blast" plaque this year.

Tim,
Great to see you coming to visit up again !!! To bad I see the rest of the family won't be coming, with all those boats we've seen being snapped up out there by the Benjamin clan.. Can't wait to hear and see that Barefoot scream alongside Joe's monster 2001...

And yes, looks like we'll have to show the boys from across the pond the proper way to "hoist a pint"

[QUOTE]

Considering neither of us actually have an engine in the boat we plan to bring yet I would say the bay blast is wide open this year. This bet could end up a skier vs. mustang dual at this rate.. if so we can see how much nitrous a chevy 307 can take...

We couldn't let Reid in on the bet because who could afford the camping bill for that guy and his entourage...

Roger,
If you do manage to make it, after the reunion you can head north with me another 2&1/2 hours and then help me put the PITA spiral dust collector ductwork together!!

Actually, the manufacturer has given me some tips due to the tight fitting connections. Strips of shim stock to guide the fittings into the spiral. I did work with it once before, struggled with it but didn't have that many joints. This project is coming out at about 50 connections!

I may regret not going with your suggestion of using those "speed clamps"!! Cost was a factor though - the ductwork with all the expensive tapered laterals is amost twice the cost of the actual dust collector!

Pete I'm looking forward to meeting you and the rest of the crew, the only thing that could stop me now is the Volcano dust clouds we had from Iceland which grounds all flights.

Happy to help with the ducting, there is always the hammer and duck tape method as we all know silicon is out.

See you all next month Roger.

Roger, I live real close to Summit Racing's headquarters in Akron, Ohio. If you needed something from there I could pick it up and bring it to GL with me. Nice to see you making the trip, you'll have a great time.

IT would be much easier and cheaper if you just ordered from jegs or Summit Racing what you needed then had it ship to Mojo's place at GL or one of the other members house in the area, then they could bring it with them to the reunion. It sure would leave more time to hoist Pints and BS about CC's. .02
