Hope all you guys have a great safe trip. dr looks like you are goin' a long ways just like Mark.
Mark; make sure you take my cell number with you. If you had the time and wanted to stop it would be very cool. We have a futon in the living room that has you and Lisa's names on it. We have plans made to go to Reid and Laurie's at the end of our stay, about 8/2 so we will get the scoop about GL. Hope to see you and Lisa and your bro over here shortly after we get back...or at your place...don't care....just wanna see those pics! Have a safe trip! john |

Safe journey to everyone making the long haul to GL, be it from CA, NY,MA,NC,FL or AL (hope I didn't miss anyone) May your flights be smooth and your bearings stay cool. Looking forward to a lot of pics and the results of the "friendly competitions".

This Sucks.... I lived in Sun Prairie for a couple years, and its not till I move back to Seattle, that I find out about this. Hope its a blast, Maybe next year I can make it...

75, what are rest stops? When we get started we ain't gonna stop till Karen hollers for a PeePee..........Hope to be in Fon Du Lac Wed. Afternoon, gonna do Mercury tour then to Oscosh for the EAA museum then a couple of quilt shops for Karen . Will stay close for the nite and roll in sometimes on the A.M. Thursday ...........sea ya there

Lived in MKE all but 4 years of my life and my wife worked at Harley. I don't know of any plants in Fond Du Lac where the Mercury factory is. Milwaukee, Wauwatosa, Menomonee Falls and Tomahawk are the only plants I know in WI. Enlighten me if I'm wrong. I'd just hate to see someone on a wild goose chase. HD Factory Tours |

Correct. I guess when you've travelled 2000 miles, 50 miles seemed like it was just down the road. Other than roadside pornshops and fireworks stands, there wasn't much I remember between the Mercury and Harley plant

Well I hate to say it, but I lost the battle with my wife for a vacation in WI that included Green Lake Reunion. I really wanted to meet all the regulars on the site, or my second family as my wife would put it
 . We are headed to Negril, Jamaica instead, without the kids, so it should be a pretty cool escape from reality.
I've got good Ca representation with BKH holding down the fort for the California contingency. So hope you all enjoy and take plenty of pics. And I trust that 79 will drink Hollywood under the table on Saturday night. A bummed out todicus

The rest of us knuckleheads that can't make it to GL are seriously envious about now (maybe I should speak for myself and not all the rest...) Hope you all have a great time and maybe we'll see you next year. My weekend is going to be replacing a brake line on my Suburban that gave way last Friday in the driveway! Just glad we weren't on the road.

Getting ready to call it a night. Plan on leaving about 8:30 tomorrow morning. I talked to TRBenj an hour ago, and he was making his way through South Bend, on his way to Quinners house. If all goes well, we plan to meet the convoy tomrrow somewhere north of Chicago. Should be 7 or 8 strong.
Boat's packed, truck's packed, my suitcase is packed, just have to get the wife going. Told her departure time is 7:30, so hopefully 8:30 is realistic Hope to see a lot of you soon. Safe travels to all.

well i am the comedy of errors so far, couldnt get out of town on time because of work, then got an eye injury and wasted a day geting rid of that, then on the final test drive we found the muffler leaking .. .but i will get there...
