I am in desperate need of a good used or new borg warner velvet drive model 71c 1:1 or 10-17 1:1 transmission. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I have a working 10-17 I would part with for 500 you pay shipping, its nothing special, out of an 83 SN I have had no problems with it, no significant leaks but its 25 years old. I have an older 71c you could have for half that including shipping but it needs a rear seal minimum ( I have one I would include) it could need more its a 67 vintage. Or for about 1450 www.skidim.com can sell you a brand new one. Somewhere in the middle www.fantasticfinishmarine.com could sell you a rebuilt or rebuild yours if you got one.
