Ok so on me 2000 Air, the hour meter keeps losing it memory for some reason. When I bought the boat the gauge had just been replaced. I took the boat to the dealer before buying it to be sure of the number of hours on it. They were just like the owner said 238 hours. Now that I have had it out a few times I have noticed that every time I take it out and start the boat the hour meter reads 0 hours again. I checked last two times out, it counts the amount of time running. But the next time out it back at zero again. The battery is fully charged, it stays connected. That shouldn't matter anyway, but just some info. Any thoughts, any one else ever run into this?

Had the same problem with the brand new Faria gauge installed in December. Just a bad guage. Replaced it again (free of charge) and it's fine now. BKH

BKH,
Thanks for the info. They put another digital gauge in when the original was replaced. I will call and see what I can get. I was hoping it was some easy to fix. |
