Having a problem with 1992 SNOB transmission. Forward gear running strong- no issues, reverse will not engage. Tranny not running hot, fluid level good- clean. Cooler lines etc all good- pressure good no leaks. No squeaks, squeals, knocks. Originally thought must be linkage, but gear lever on tranny is getting back all the way. WhEn placing in reverse, it seems as if the reverse clutch not engaging at all- simply revs as if in neutral. It is a PCM Power Plus 1.23:1 gear-
ANY SUGGESTIONS? AM I LOOKING AT A COMPLETE REBUILD?

Thanks, Eric- you were very helpful on the phone this morning- I still need to get the boat back- also had a new crate tranny put in my Tahoe- lost 2 transmissions in ONE weekend-
I will call you back once I have decided what to do. |

Great weekend! Fortunately, it only took my old body a couple days to recoup after several barefoot, slalom, wakeboard, kneeboard runs- its gonna take my wallet alot longer!!
