Vintage Correct Craft Pics

             Here are a few pictures of the boat I recently aquired. I believe it to be a 1948 or 49 utility? These pictures show the overall boat as well as some inside hull pictures, guages,various trim and the powertrain. Please email or send me any messages regarding the pictures. The entire structure including the hemi will be placed on Ebay very soon.I may consider parting the boat out, including the trailer if enough intrest is shown. Thanks

Iam new to computer communicating, so Ihope iam using your correct name. I thank you for
your reply. I had no idea what the vintage of
this craft might be, but thought it resembled
the one called the Three Amigos in general hull shape and configuration? If you notice the shot of the transom you will see where the original single exhaust was blocked off I
realise that the motor is not original. Upon
further inquiries Iwas able to determine that the motor is a1955 or 54 model,331cuin. The heads carry 1954 numbers, but the block is a short type that came out in 1955 Chrysler may
very well have used different year components
during assembly. Anyway I bought the boat for motor parts for a hotrod. the motor has the high performance 2x4carbs and adjustable rockers that Chrysler builders like. I will
probably strip the hardware and junk the hull
Iwas just wanting to make it avaible in case some one had an interest. Ads in the publications you mentioned are somewhat expensive and I realy do not want to sink much morre money into this item. I saw an add
in this forum in the parts wanted for copper exhaust pipes. The pipes on this craft are some type of metal either copper or brass? I
sanded a small spot and it appeared to be brass, but Iam not certain. The throught hull
fittings are stainless steel and are nicely made with a rubber o ring system to seal them to the transom. The pipes are 8'x3'' and with the hull fittings would make avery nice exhaust system. Might look good on my 32 ford coupe? I will look into your suggestions for ad placements. I thank you and also thank the

Mick here, Ihave four of the mentioned plates,
but no inserts for them. Iam pursuing a few others venues concering this vessel.So far not much interest shown. If nothing develops soon, I will let them go for whatever is reasonable for this type stuff. Iwill post when I begin to strip this vessel, thank you for your interest.

Nate, Yes, the step pad frames are the correct ones. The rubber inserts before about 55 or 56 were black and with the old style script. I got reproductions for mine. The guy who was casting them from urethane has retired and moved to Hawaii and I don't know what happened to his side business with the pads. I'll have to do some research. Nate, do you have any pads?
